1 Day Beginners Face Painting Workshop

TOPICS COVERED:

Designed to get you kick-started into the fun that is face painting, this workshop will get you painting from the beginning and learning elements that you can combine to create your own simple designs

• Loading your brush/sponge

• Base sponging, line work & one-strokes

ON THE DAY:

• 10:45am - Arrival
• 11am - Lesson One - Techniques & Elements
• 12:30pm - Lunch Break (bring your own or head to a local cafe)
• 1pm - Lesson Two - Combining Elements
• 2:30pm - Lesson Three - Practice, Q&A and FAQs (face paint as a business, hygiene etc)
• 3:30pm - Purchases and Pack Up
• 4pm - Finish

REQUIRED MATERIALS:

You will need some face paint supplies to get started - a few colours (including white), sponges, brushes and glitter, all of which are available individually on the day, or you can select from our intro, beginners or advanced kits available to pre-order. See below for options.

Other supplies can be purchased in-store on the day if you would like.

Please also bring along a water container, flannel/washcloth or packet of baby wipes (or makeup wipes), something to drink and a "come n try" attitude!

Remember to wear clothing that doesn’t matter if paint gets on it! We recommend wearing short sleeves as your arm will be your canvas. Skirts/shorts can work well too if you want to practice on your thighs.

TERMS & CONDITIONS

Minimum age 15yo. A tween/teen class is in the planning stages for younger people

Places are strictly limited and often sell out. Please double-check that you are available on the date specified before booking. If something comes up and you need to cancel, payment can be transferred to another session but is strictly non-refundable. Minimum 48 hours notice of cancellation is required or payment is forfeited.

Due to the venue size and so you can get the most out of the workshop, we can only accommodate participants, so children or friends are unable to attend with you. We will begin promptly at 11am and endeavour to finish on time at 4pm, but please make allowances for extra time as workshops occasionally run over time.
